Introducing… #AskDayna! What is an H-1B Visa?
.
H-1B visas are nonimmigrant visas for foreign nationals who want to enter the United States to perform work in a specialty occupation. The foreign national must have attained at least a bachelor’s degree or higher in a specific specialty (or its equivalent). As an H-1B immigration lawyer, I review job descriptions, advise on appropriate SOC codes, and prepare H-1B petitions so as to reduce the likelihood of a request for evidence from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
