N-400 Lawyer
Today, I spent 5.5 hours at the Boston Field Office for a naturalization interview.
After an hour or so of waiting to be called for the interview, the government came out and told us that the interview had to be cancelled and rescheduled due to a “technical issue.”
I said we’d wait.
Hours later, the Field Office supervisor came out and recommended that we leave (again).
I asked to speak with the Field Office Director.
Hours later, the government agreed to conduct the interview. The applicant passed all three tests (reading, writing, and civics). . . .
Although the applicant was not able to attend a same-day oath ceremony (because of the technical issue), we made great strides on the naturalization application process.
Find a lawyer that will advocate for you throughout the entire process. Sometimes, it helps to have an extra somebody in your corner.
