USCIS Fee Increase
March 25th, 2024 | immigrationfeesUSCIS has decided to adjust certain fees associated with immigration and naturalization benefit requests. These adjustments are made after conducting a comprehensive review of fees every two years. The review revealed that the current fees are insufficient to cover the full cost of providing adjudication and naturalization services. Therefore, the fees are being adjusted to ensure that USCIS can recover its costs and maintain adequate service levels.
.
The final rule will come into effect on April 1, 2024. This means that the adjustments to fees, additional fee exemptions, and changes to benefit request requirements outlined in the final rule will be implemented starting from that date.
