DHS Delays Effective Date of H-1B Selection Final Rule
By: Dayna Lally, Esq.[i]
Last week, DHS issued an alert that it will delay the H-1B Selection Final Rule (regarding selection based on highest OES wage levels) until Dec. 31, 2021.[ii] The delay is intended “[t]o give USCIS more time to develop, test, and implement the modifications to the H-1B registration system and selection process …”.[iii] See USCIS website.
The USCIS also updated its website with information on the FY 2022 H-1B electronic registration process.[iv]
