I recently listened to a podcast on NPR which talked about how a profession does not dictate your personality. I am not a typical lawyer. Some of my clients meet me and expect black suits, exuberant language, etc. I’m not like that at all. I wear shorts, t-shirts, and flip-flops most days and can walk clients through the process as easy as I can guide my children up the swing-set safely! So here is your reminder that it is okay to let your personality shine!

Someone I know couldn’t afford to become a U.S. citizen. So, we filed for a fee waiver and I did the work for free.
Pro bono service is both professionally and personally rewarding. Do you know someone who needs assistance with immigration but can’t afford the legal fees? I try to offer various pro bono services each quarter.

If the time for an appeal has expired, you may not file another N-600 application. Rather, you must file a motion to reconsider on Form I-290B.

Last month, a couple retained me to represent them at the FINAL stage of their employment-based green card process (the interview in Boston).
This couple started the green card process NINE years ago.
After 2 PERMs, 3 immigrant visa petitions, 2 green card applications, and 1 immigration delay lawsuit against the USCIS, they FINALLY have their green cards!
