USCIS Temporary Office Closure Extended Until At Least May 3

April 1, 2020

On April 1, 2020, the USCIS issued an alert that it is extending the temporary closure of in-person services at its field offices, asylum offices, and application support centers (ASCs) until at least May 3. USCIS offices will begin to reopen on May 4 unless the public closures are extended further.

USCIS field offices will send notices to applicants and petitioners with scheduled appointments and naturalization ceremonies impacted by the extended temporary closure.

If you would like to know more about the USCIS’ temporary suspension of in-person services and how that will impact the processing time of your pending application or petition, contact Lally Immigration Services, LLC at (617) 870-1000 or by email to [email protected].
