Naturalization Application Approved This Morning at the USCIS Lawrence Field Office

This morning, our client successfully passed the naturalization interview at the USCIS Lawrence Field Office and is now on the path to becoming a U.S. citizen.

English Test Results

  • Reading Test – Read aloud: “Who lives in the White House?”

  • Writing Test – Wrote: “The President lives in the White House.”

Civics Test Results

Our client correctly answered the following six civics questions:

  1. Under our Constitution, some powers belong to the states. What is one power of the states?

  2. Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived?

  3. What did the Declaration of Independence do?

  4. What is one reason colonists came to America?

  5. What is the name of the President of the United States now?

  6. If the President can no longer serve, who becomes President?

Important Update

USCIS will begin administering a new 2025 Naturalization Civics Test for applicants who file Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, on or after October 20, 2025.

The new 2025 test is different from the current version in several ways:

  • Applicants will be asked 20 questions (instead of 10).

  • To pass, they must answer at least 12 correctly (instead of 6).

Applicants should review the updated materials carefully to prepare. Full details and study resources are available directly from USCIS here.

File Before October 20, 2025

If you are considering applying for U.S. citizenship and want to take the current civics test before the new 2025 version goes into effect, now is the time to act. Contact immigration lawyer Dayna Lally (here),  as soon as possible to get started with your application.

At Lally Immigration Services, we charge a flat fee of $850 to prepare a naturalization application.
