The J1 visa to green card process generally entails filing an immigrant visa petition (Form I-130) together with an application for adjustment of status (Form I-485) and applications for employment authorization (Form I-765) and advance parole (Form I-131).
All immediate relatives of U.S. citizens are also required by law to submit an affidavit of support (Form I-864) completed by the petitioning spouse in order to obtain adjust status to that of a lawful permanent resident, i.e., green card holder, in the United States.

- $700 – Prior to the mock J1 visa to green card interview.
