I-751 Cost

Please find below some basic information on the cost of preparing/submitting a Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, with Lally Immigration Services, LLC.

Fees

I charge a flat fee of $1,850.

Services Included

The flat fee of $1,850 includes the following services:

  • Preparation and review of all required forms and supporting documents;
  • Filing the application with the USCIS;
  • Tracking the application with the USCIS; and
  • A virtual mock interview two weeks before the actual interview with the USCIS (if necessary).

You are responsible for the USCIS filing fee ($595) as well as the biometric services fee ($85). The total cost will be $2,530.

Payment Plans Available

I offer a payment plan, whereby the attorney fee may be paid at the following intervals:

  • $925 – To begin process; and
  • $925 – Prior to filing.

Estimated Processing Time

The USCIS provides estimated case processing times on their website (here).

The estimated processing times listed on the USCIS website are calculated based on how long it took the government to complete 80% of cases over the past 6 months.

To check the current USCIS processing times, visit the USCIS website (above), and select the following options from the dropdown menus:

Form: I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence

Form Category: Removal of lawful permanent resident conditions (spouses of US. citizens and lawful permanent residents)

Field Office: Vermont Service Center*

* Currently, all of my pending I-751 petitions are with the Vermont Service Center.

Note: The estimated processing times listed on the USCIS website are generally much longer than it usually takes.

Process Flow

The typical process flow in my office is as follows:

  • Intake (basic questions to confirm eligibility);
  • Legal Services Agreement;
  • Payment;
  • Client Questionnaire and Document List;
  • Drafting;
  • Edits (if necessary);
  • Shipment;
  • Receipt Notice;
  • Biometrics Appointment or Biometrics Reuse;
  • Mock Interview (if necessary);
  • Actual Interview (if any); and
  • Decision.

Working with Dayna

I am a firm believer of setting clear expectations at the beginning of the process and maintaining open communication throughout. Therefore, I am providing the following information about working with me.

Communication Hours

I allocate the following times each day exclusively for client communication (emails, phone calls, and meetings):

  • Monday:        1:00PM – 2:30PM EST
  • Tuesday:        1:00PM – 2:30PM EST
  • Wednesday:  1:00PM – 2:30PM EST
  • Thursday:      1:00PM – 2:30PM EST
  • Friday:           1:00PM – 2:30PM EST

In an effort to maximize productivity and maintain a healthy work/life balance, I generally do not respond to emails or phone calls outside of the office hours listed above.

Phone Calls

I do not answer unscheduled phone calls. My experience has been that productive conversation requires not only an agenda, but also undivided attention. Therefore, all calls must generally be scheduled 24 hours in advance and take place between 1:00PM – 2:30PM EST, Monday – Friday.

Preferred Form of Communication > Email

I expect to communicate with you predominately through email for the reasons stated above. This ensures that all communication is in writing and easily referenced. I agreed to use reasonable and customary measures to ensure information and documentation remains confidential, but make no guarantee or promise as to the security of the information relayed.

To facilitate fast and efficient correspondence throughout this process, I ask that clients relay all questions/concerns to me in bulleted emails in the format below:

Hello Dayna,

Good afternoon! I have a few questions:

  • Question 1
  • Question 2
  • Question 3

This format encourages clients to clearly articulate any and all questions or concerns. This format also forces me to provide direct, tailored responses. I generally respond to all questions within one (1) business day; generally, the same day (after 1:00pm EST).
