How much does a lawyer charge for a green card?

Boston green card lawyer, Dayna Lally, generally charges a flat fee of $2,500 to prepare a marriage-based green card application. This fee can be broken down into four (4) equal installment payments, if requested.

  • $625 – To begin green card application;
  • $625 – Prior to filing green card application with USCIS;
  • $625 – When USCIS receipts the green card application; and
  • $625 – Prior to the mock green card interview. 

Attorney fees for green card through marriage includes:

  • Preparation and review of all required forms and supporting documents;
  • Filing the green card application with USCIS;
  • Tracking the processing time of the green card application (to eliminate any/all unnecessary delays);
  • A mock green card interview two weeks before the adjustment interview with USCIS; and
  • Representation at the green card interview with the USCIS in Boston or Lawrence. 

How much is green card fee?

Green card filing fees currently total $1,760 ($535 + $1,140 + $85). Green card applicants are also required to submit a sealed medical examination. The cost of an immigration medical exam varies by location and by doctor.
