Green Card Approved – A Triumph After a Challenging Journey!
This marriage-based green card case was a real rollercoaster, with so many hurdles and unexpected twists!
On the day the green card interview, the USCIS made an unusual request – asking one of my clients to sign a “Waiver of Attorney’s Presence at Interview.” This was despite my notifying the USCIS earlier that morning that I was in the building to represent two sets of clients that day, with interviews scheduled at 12:45 PM and 2:15 PM.
That was an extremely frustrating situation, but we pushed forward.
The situation intensified when the USCIS issued a 5-page Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) several weeks after the interivew. The NOID highlighted ten (10) alleged discrepancies in my clients’ testimony during the green card interview.
This was no small challenge, but I wasn’t backing down.
I spent countless hours meticulously preparing a comprehensive 219-page response to the Notice of Intent to Deny, which we submitted in June 2024.
And today, the moment we have been waiting for – approval!
This journey shows how persistence, dedication, and a thorough understanding of the process can overcome even the toughest challenges. I’m so proud of my clients for staying strong through this entire process. The approval is a well-deserved victory!
